The Women On Top Commitment During COVID-19

Hello listeners,

Firstly, I hope you’re keeping well and positive in the circumstances we find ourselves in 💛.

In the wake of COVID-19 and the weird and uncertain times we find ourselves in, Women On Top has made a commitment to keep producing weekly podcasts. For a short while, I wondered how we could keep producing without access to the studio. But we must be agile and creative. The audio quality might not be what you’re used to, but I hope to bring you some great content in the coming weeks!

Podcasts are great for relieving isolation and feeling a part of a conversation and community when we’re #WFH. It’s for that reason we’re going to continue weekly. Some podcasts will be guest interviews, some might be advice on specific topics related to our COVID-19, and I’m hoping to launch a series of live podcasts online with #AMA (ask me anything) sections that you can register to attend. More information to follow.

For now, I want to hear from YOU. What are the key topics that you’d like us to cover at Women On Top during COVID-19? How can we help to support your business, project or side hustle? Let me know so we can adapt our content and deliver what you need.

Lastly, I’m going to launch some totally free, no strings attached 30 minute workshop sessions to help business leaders navigate this uncertain time. For those of you who don’t know, I run a management consultancy called Let’s Be Frank where I help business leaders with their marketing, brand, business development, leadership and culture.

Once I’ve got a link to book in I’ll share this with you. We can discuss things like:

    • How to pivot your services and products online

    • Adapting your business development strategy

    • Maintaining useful and effective marketing communications

    • Supporting your teams to go digital

    • Business leadership, decision making and communication when faced with uncertainty

And lastly from me, nothing will stop at Women On Top or Let’s Be Frank and we will carry on. Not in the same way of course, we will have to adapt and make significant changes. But I won’t delay making key decisions in my business. We must have faith in our creativity and ability to create value - after all business is about solving problems for people. It won’t be easy, but I hope we can all be open minded and pivot wherever possible, rather than grind to a halt.

When you’re missing your colleagues and need a pick me up, scroll through the episode archive and listen to the wisdom of our wonderful guests.

Take really good care of yourself and don’t hesitate to contact me if I can be of any help.
